Job Summary: The primary purpose of this position is to direct and oversee the accounting operations, financial activities, and administrative systems of the organization.

Essential Functions:
  • Direct and prepare all financial statements, including budgets, income statements, balance sheets, tax returns, and government agency reports.
  • Oversee month-end, quarterly, and annual closing of accounting and administrative systems.
  • Analyze and reconcile general ledger accounts and investment transactions, preparing reports for management.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, industry best practices, and state and federal regulations.
  • Assist and oversee annual financial and 401(k) reviews, working with external third-party administrators and auditors.
  • Manage the investment of funds and cash management, maintaining relationships with bankers.
  • Facilitate and oversee support for financial and administrative systems and applications, ensuring effective user support.
  • Ensure projects and tasks are completed within specifications, on time, and within budget.
  • Review contracts, agreements, and business legal documents for validity and compliance.
  • Engage and consult with legal and professional support when required.
  • Manage product pricing and margins according to organizational processes and procedures.
  • Upgrade, implement, and test the organization's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
  • Compare sales profit projections to actual figures and budgeted expenses to actual expenses, making necessary adjustments to future projections and budgets.
  • Collaborate closely with senior management to coordinate planning and establish priorities.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Power BI and pivot tables
  • Knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
  • Ability to comply with safety policies, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies
  • Maintain a safe, neat, and orderly work area

Education / Experience / License:
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) License required
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in financial management within a manufacturing industry required
  • Public accounting experience preferred
  • Process industry experience a plus
  • Valid driver's license with no major driving violations

Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Regularly required to talk and hear
  • Frequently required to use hands and fingers; handle and feel objects, tools, or controls
  • Occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, and reach with hands and arms
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus
  • Ability to travel as needed

Work Environment: This position operates in an office setting. The noise level is usually moderate.

Work Schedule: This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, first shift. Adjustments to this schedule may be required as necessary.
