Responsibilities for the Accounting Assistant:

  • Code and enter Accounts Payable across all properties, processing 50-70 invoices per week.
  • Accounts Receivable entry to include incoming rent checks and tenant ledger upkeep.
  • Review Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable entries for accuracy and compliance before submission, contributing to a smooth month-end close process.
  • Daily bank reconciliation for 20+ accounts.
  • Reconcile vendor statements.


Requirements for the Accounting Assistant:
  • Understanding of the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
  • Tech savvy - ready to learn new software.
  • Friendly communication style - ready to jump in and help when asked.
  • Previous property management accounting experience a plus - not required.
