Consumer lending finance group brings together enterprise functions that drive Wells Fargo's financial management, including accounting and control, financial planning and analysis, line of business finance, asset-liability management, treasury, tax management, and the company's investment portfolios. Key portfolios include Business facing finance support for Home Lending (Production, Servicing, Capital Markets, Pricing, & FP&A activities)
This Individual contributor role will serve as finance lead for the Home Lending team part of Consumer Lending in India. The key priorities for this role will be to provide strategic solutions to stakeholders through strong business acumen displaying executive presence, provide meaningful insights to the management team on all aspects of financials, to facilitate better deep dives and effective management decisions. The senior consultant will be responsible in ensuring that all of the Forecasting, Planning and management reporting activities to Home Lending is undertaken in an effective manner. The incumbent should have strong communication, a good functional understanding and have the ability to provide effective presentation to the senior leaders.

In this role, you will:
- Lead or participate in moderately complex initiatives as a technical professional
- Provide a broad expertise and unique skills used to develop company objectives and standards
- Contribute to large scale planning such as economic research in support of management decision making for a business unit
- Research key forecasting projections as well as management of financial reporting to support monthly and quarterly forecasting
- Perform work on significant and unique issues involving data and evaluation or highly complex situations
- Develop strategies and make recommendations for forward financial planning
- Lead team to meet the implementation of complex projects impacting one or more lines of business
- Establish effective and efficient reporting delivery that meets brand standard and internal control standards
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- 4+ years of Finance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- MBA (or) Cost & Management Accountant (or) Chartered Financial Analyst (or) Chartered Accountant with more than 10 years of post-qualification experience.
- Candidate should have strong FP&A expertise and has experience in working with senior leaders providing strategic solutions.
- Candidate must have hands on experience in LOB / segment / product reporting / management reporting / dashboard / presentations / Analytics / commentary.
- Candidate should have good hands on experience on handling end to end aspects of project financials / reporting / forecasting / analysis and plan support.
- Candidate should have good exposure to handling work flow applications, be good with BO and or BI Tools and or similar applications. Good expertise in Data Lineage, data flow / architecture and data quality.
- Prior experience in FP&A Treasury role, with expertise in financial modeling, with specific experience in interest rate risk modeling and scenario analysis.
- Solid understanding of mortgage banking products, including mortgage-backed securities and related derivatives.
- Experience with CCAR stress testing processes and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Demonstrated ability to drive results in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Power BI or similar data visualization tools for dashboard creation and reporting
- Expertise with Essbase along with SQL skills and query management. Knowledge of SAS, Tableau and data analytics will be added advantage.
- Comfortable to work in flexible timings to maximize overlap with US counterparts.
- Candidate should have good financial modelling, template building, dashboard and presentation skills as this will really help in transforming the reports to the next level.
- Candidate should have Essbase, Hyperion, Cognos and should be a subject matter expert in data retrievals from different cubes. (Must to have)
- Ability to work both independently and within team environment. Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to perform complex analyses, build financial models, draw conclusions, and communicate recommendations to business leaders.
- Prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with critical deadlines.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, Macros, Business Intelligence tools and Power point.

The main Responsibilies would be - Interest Rate Risk Modeling: Develop and maintain sophisticated interest rate risk models tailored to the home mortgage business. Execute multiple scenario analyses to assess the impact of interest rate movements on the bank's mortgage portfolio.
- Treasury Balance Calibration and Interpolation: Calibrate and interpolate the treasury balance, ensuring accuracy in forecasting liquidity needs and optimizing capital allocation with the defined models
- CCAR Support: Provide crucial support for CCAR stress testing exercises, including data collection, model validation, scenario analysis, and documentation. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and timely submission of CCAR-related deliverables.
- Financial Planning and Forecasting on Treasury: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop financial plans and forecasts for the home mortgage business. Analyze historical trends, market dynamics, and business drivers to produce accurate projections and identify potential risks and opportunities.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the Treasury FP&A function, identifying opportunities to enhance processes, streamline workflows, and leverage technology solutions. Actively participate in initiatives to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Provide detailed analysis, trend analysis and high-level recommendations. Should proactively call out for issues / challenges and come out with solutions.
