Victory Programs is a Boston-based nonprofit organization dedicated to helping individuals and families who are homeless and may have substance use disorders, often accompanied by chronic health issues like HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis C, and mental illness. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Controller will oversee the day-to-day operations of Victory Programs' finance department. The Controller will ensure the timely execution of core finance and accounting processes, in coordination with the CFO identify and implement process and system improvements, monitor the effectiveness of internal controls, and ensure that all financial reporting needs are met.
The Controller must possess strong analytical, communication, and people skills with grounding in accounting/finance best practices. The ideal individual should also be able to manage several projects simultaneously and complete tasks based on Victory Programs' priorities and deadlines.
