The CASR COE is a part of the International Controllership Organization (ICO) team and the team is responsible to drive US & Local GAAP compliance through statutory reporting & audits, and ancillary communication within the entire entity structure in HP.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of managers and individual contributors to achieve timely statutory financial statements compliance deliverables across all entities.
  • Be the champion to drive adoption for tools, solutions and frameworks implemented to enhance and improve the Statutory Compliance process
  • Lead the Optimization, design and transformation of the Statutory Compliance process by identifying areas of improvement, challenges and finding creative solutions or automation opportunities to drive this towards an end to end digital audit.
  • Lead through example and help organization appreciate and understand the broader picture of technical, ethical and financial needs, underpinning the success of the COE.
  • Using technology and processes, provide insight to controllers regarding the progress and quality of the statutory audit process and assist in resolution of issues.

Education & Experience Required
  • First level university degree with a focus in business or economics; advanced degree and/or accounting certification (e.g., CA, CPA) strongly preferred
  • 15+ years of experience in a finance function.

. 10+ years of experience as people manager

. Excellent knowledge of financial reporting & audit procedures

. Excellent project management and process development skills.

. Excellent leadership and supervisory skills, including goal setting, conflict resolution, performance management, and evaluation.

Preferred Certifications
  • CA or CPA
