Position Overview: Are you a seasoned accounting professional with a passion for the construction industry? We are seeking a Controller to lead our financial operations and provide strategic guidance to our family-owned construction firm. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in managing our financial resources, optimizing profitability, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Analyze financial data and provide strategic insights to support business decision-making.
  • Collaborate with project managers and senior leadership to monitor project costs and profitability.
  • Prepare and present financial reports and analysis to stakeholders, including owners and investors.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • CPA certification or advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with a focus on the construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of construction accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
