They are currently seeking a highly motivated Assistant Controller to join their team. Responsibilities of the Assistant Controller:
  • Perform daily bank reconciliations, ensuring accuracy, and recording bank activities in the general ledger.
  • Prepare monthly journal entries and conduct detailed balance sheet account reconciliations, identifying and rectifying any discrepancies.
  • Prepare and submit the monthly reporting package in a timely and accurate manner, including financial statements and variance analysis.
  • Review, reconcile, and record bi-weekly and semi-monthly payroll activities, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, providing insights and analysis to support decision-making.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
  • Support the Controller in ad-hoc financial analysis, reporting, and special projects as needed.

Preferred Qualifications of the Assistant Controller:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Recent experience in SAP is a must.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and complex formulae.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and internal control principles.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across different departments and levels of the organization.
