JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Financial Analyst / Financial Analyst is responsible and supports for all financial aspects of the CBRE UK/NL business, driving continuous improvement objectives and ensures SLA & Business KPIs, SOX Compliance are met.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performing GL journal entry review to ensure it is in line with SOX requirement in accordance with journal type / nature
- Verify and justify all numbers against the source documents, include making sure IPE requirement is met
- Ensure journal entry is posted accurately to the correct GL account by its nature
- All journal to be reviewed within the agreed turnaround time
- Support monthly or yearly SOX testing by providing all relevant documentations
- Manage/ monitor query resolution related to journal entry
- Assist in developing and implementing process improvements to meet business goals
- Perform any ad-hoc tasks and responsibilities which the superior may assign from time to time
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- At least 2-5 years in general ledger experience preferrable with Auditor background and MNC exposure
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- High level of accuracy, numerical ability and attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadline
- Proficiency in English
- A team player and able to promote teamwork among the team
- Flexibility, ability to deal with ambiguity and change
- Computer literate, preferably with Excel spreadsheet knowledge
Qualifications and Education:
- Candidate must possess at least a degree in Accounting / Finance or related area
- Accounting certification ACCA / CPA is advantageous
