About the client:Our client is an early-stage venture firm that invests in Digital Consumer Businesses and their Enablers. As institutional investors, rigor and deep engagement is core to their style of investing.
Job Role and Responsibilities:
  • Generate budget v/s actual variance analysis across businesses and clearly communicate trends, patterns, exceptions and areas of improvement.
  • Manage the P&L for the month and call out for exceptions during the month, timely to meet the planned numbers for the month.
  • Manage and execute Operating Working Capital analysis (aging of receivables, overdue receivables & inventory, noncurrent stock, clearance, accounts payable) by actively collaborating with multiple stakeholders.
  • Driving the State/Brand-wise Profitability and Investment Analysis and Reporting on a monthly basis.
  • Partner with business in providing financial insights towards key business projects
  • Implement and work with business intelligence tools and dashboard reports
  • Drive monthly review with the Finance Leadership team.
  • Responsible for driving the Annual Plans, Rolling Forecast and Latest Estimate for the business as per the corporate timeliness.

Qualification and Experience:• Education: B.com along with CMA/MBA • Experience: 6 to 8 years • Preferably fromFMCG or Consumer good industry • Extensively worked in preparation of P&L and reconciliations with apt understanding of the numbers • Must be excellent at crunching numbers & able to understand the impact of any transaction in numbers terms • Excellent functional knowledge of accounting systems, processes, fund flow management, statutory compliances, taxation, MIS reporting to senior management • Must have good oral and in writing communication skills
