Job Details

AS VP Finance you will lead and grow a lean, high-performing finance team which
oversees accounting, financial reporting, budgeting & forecasting, financial analysis and tax
compliance.

Reporting to the CEO, you will:
Oversee preparation of Financial Statements - P&L, BS and Cash Flow
Work closely with CEO and Executives on strategic initiatives to drive the business
forward
Establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies, procedures and internal controls
Develop detailed revenue, balance sheet and cash flow forecasts
Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
Prepare budgets by establishing schedules; collecting, analyzing, and consolidating
financial data; recommending plans
Guide the budgeting and forecasting processes at the corporate and departmental
levels that lead to predictability and consistency in forecasting; develop a
harmonious rhythm for our monthly and annual financial reporting to key
stakeholders
Monitor and confirm financial condition by conducting audits; providing information
to external auditors
Collaborate effectively with other departments, including Operations, Supply
Chain, Sales and Marketing
Liaison with tax accountants, auditors, bankers, insurance brokers, lawyers, etc.
Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and
new legislation; anticipating future legislation; enforcing adherence to
requirements
Maintain financial staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees
Use data to improve decision-making, promote reporting, data sharing, and the
analysis of metrics; translate data into relevant insights and operational
opportunities
Coach and mentor the Finance team
Lead communication with investor relations, including drafting board
communications and fundraising materials

Requirements:
15+ years of progressive Accounting and Finance experience
Experience across working capital in Supply Chain business: Managing working
capital via Open to Buy, ability to predict working capital strain in a fast growing
supply chain business with a nuanced understanding of the interplay of AR, AP and
inventory purchases
10+ years of experience in high growth start-ups, investment banking, venture
capital or private equity
Extensive experience leading an organization through rapid growth, including
several rounds of fundraising
ERP Implementation and transformation experience is an asset
Strong leadership and Management skills
Experience in scaling a business
M&A experience
