Key Accountabilities:
Has finance end-responsibility for large countries and business lines by focusing on finance business partnering and project control.
The Financial Controller is responsible for all financial, management and job costing functions. Responsibilities include ensuring timely preparation of financial and management information reports, reviewing, evaluating financial performance, budgeting, fund management Implementation of Company management systems within department.

Specific Additional Duties
Provide guidelines and assistance to ICO's operating in India
Assist, or liaise with, other Financial Controllers as and when necessary.
General Management Responsibilities:
Determine resource requirements pertaining to personnel, equipment, financial, etc, with department managers, and other Fugro managers
Recruit, hire, train and supervise personnel; terminate as required and authorized
Supervise the induction of new personnel (direct report) and participate in the welcoming of all new hires (meeting...)
Undertake new hire reviews after 60-90 days of relevant personnel (direct report) and ensure new hire reviews are conducted by relevant managers
Approve training requests based on corporate objectives
Conduct annual performance reviews and interim reviews of staff reporting to them
Principal Working Relationships:
1.Work with country finance controller to provide accounting systems and to provide advice and assistance in accounting activities.
Work with Business Line Managers to co-ordinate the requirements of budgeting and accounting system.
Qualifications required:
Graduate or equivalent course; preferably in commerce/accounting
Professional Accounting course i.e. CA / ICWAI
Skills / experience required to do the job:
Min. 3-4 years experience in equivalent position.
Good Communication Skills and command over English language.
HSE Responsibilities:
Responsible for ensuring safety of self and others at site. Prevent damage of equipment and assets Responsible for following all safety signs/procedures/ safe working practices Responsible for using appropriate PPE's Responsible for participating in mock drills. Entitled to refuse any to undertake any activity considered unsafe. Responsible for filling up of hazard observation card, wherever hazard has been noticed at site. Responsible for safe housekeeping of his work place. To stop any operation that is deemed unsafe To be able to operate fire extinguisher in case of fire To report an incident as soon as possible to immediate supervisor and HSE manager To complete HSE trainings as instructed to do so

- Supervise the accounts of the company/Unit.
- Organise the timely flow of accounts information.
- Prepare annual statutory audits. Liaise with external auditors and assists in preparation and accomplishment.
- Various tax requirements and ensure timely and complete compliance viz. Companies Act, Income Tax, GST, Transfer Pricing etc.
- Direct accounting operations of all corporate entities within the regional office.
- Co-ordinate the reporting, analysis and interpretation of financial management and actual results on a timely basis.
- Implement programmers as directed by the superiors. Preview and analyse management accounts data with the respective Profit Centre Managers. Ensure that all contracts and business dealings are in accordance with established Company practices and conform to the local laws.
- Update the Management and Business Line Managers on recent tax laws
- Any other work as assigned by the Company.
