The following position is to join our RTX Corporate within the Enterprise Business Services for Finance organization. The mission of Enterprise Business Services is delivering cross-functional, end-to-end capabilities that execute essential transactions which enable business outcomes. As a Tower lead, this individual you will primarily focus on managing and optimizing Record to report processes across the RTX business units. Due to the nature of the role, your background and experience will clearly demonstrate an in-depth knowledge and understanding of Financial Accounting/P2P within a shared service environment. The role demands exemplary people management and leadership skills which you will have developed within large corporate/international environments. These will hold you in good stead as the business culture is people orientated, dynamic and creative. A deep understanding of end-to-end processes in the area P2P are a must as is strong Project Management skills. Previous transformational experience would be a distinct advantage.

  • Lead the accounts payables tower in Bangalore India.
  • Responsible for a seamless, efficient, and timely transition of identified processes into RTX ES Bangalore service center
  • Lead operational and governance calls to present monthly operational Dashboards, Metrics, Activity Trackers & Monthly/Quarterly Reserves/Accruals to Directors/Regional Controllers/Country Controllers/ other stakeholders.
  • Responsibility for service delivery accordingly to service level agreed targets & for maintaining high level of Customer satisfaction.
  • Provide decision support for ad-hoc activities which financially impact the customers.
  • Supporting AP teams with all issues related to operations & making sure all tasks are performed on time in line with SLAs.
  • Effectively lead change, manage, and escalate risks arising out of transition of new processes.
  • Identify, plan and lead continuous improvements program using CORE, drive process transformation and improvements to increase team efficiency and generate value addition to customers.
  • Responsibility to ensure that team remains satisfied and engaged, recognizing team members for achievements; actively networking with other teams & departments.
  • Review operational excellence analytics, identify and lead automations, support team leads in creating analytical tools helpful in ensuring high level of performance within the teams.
  • Acting as a main escalation point internally and for customers.
  • Lead investment proposals and collaboratively work with customers on any new business in the channel- ensuring pricing, investment levels.
  • Deliver and encourage a strong governance culture.
  • Map controls to processes and support review of key risks and associated controls and compliance policies & procedures.
  • Ensure the relevant financial controls are operating as designed (SOX compliance)

Required Skills
  • Proven experience of leading accounts payable team
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, problem solving and decision-making abilities required.
  • Excellent organizational skills, unrelenting attention to detail, resourceful, and a strong work ethic which insists on accuracy and diligence to the assigned tasks.
  • Outstanding analytical ability to investigate, diagnose and resolve accounts payable issues.
  • Ability to think critically by applying problem solving practices, using technology and other resources appropriately.
  • Proven customer service, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization.
  • As a business requirement willing to work in any shift to support multiple time zones.

  • Bachelor's degree with minimum 12+ years of relevant work experience
  • Proven track record of handling large teams
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP, MS Excel, PowerPoint

Required Education
  • Bachelor/master's degree in commerce, MBA, CA
