We are seeking a skilled and driven Accounts Executive who is an Inter CA (Intermediate level ofChartered Accountancy) with 3-4 years of relevant experience, preferably in an industry setting. Therole involves managing accounting operations, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, andsupporting financial reporting and analysis. This position presents an excellent opportunity for anInter CA to gain valuable industry experience and further their career growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Accounting Operations:- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records, including general ledger, accounts payable,accounts receivable, and fixed asset registers.- Perform bank reconciliations, account reconciliations, and prepare journal entries as required.- Assist in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, including accruals,adjustments, and reconciliations.- Support in the preparation of financial statements and reports as per applicable accountingstandards and company policies.
2. Compliance and Reporting:- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax laws, and statutory regulations.- Assist in the preparation and filing of statutory returns and reports, such as GST returns, TDSreturns, and other regulatory filings.- Coordinate with internal and external auditors during auditing processes and address any queriesor discrepancies.
3. Financial Analysis and Support:
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making.- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities.- Contribute to financial modeling, scenario analysis, and cost-benefit analysis for various projectsor initiatives.
4. Process Improvement and Documentation:- Continuously review and streamline accounting processes and procedures to enhance efficiencyand accuracy.- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to reduce manual efforts andminimize errors.- Maintain up-to-date documentation of accounting policies, procedures, and processes.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Inter CA (Intermediate level of Chartered Accountancy) from a recognized institute.- 3-4 years of relevant experience in accounting, financial reporting, and taxation, preferably in anindustry setting (experience from a CA firm is not mandatory).- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and taxation laws.- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office applications (Excel,Word, PowerPoint).- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
