About Role

Designation- Asst Manager - Finance

Location- Mumbai-VSB

Primary Activities

Periodical Accounts closure -
  • Regular Coordination with cross functional teams for the accounting requirement, accrual formats and open purchase order analysis for accurate monthly cost accruals.
  • Managing Monthly Closing activities - to ensure that month-end cost accruals are checked, analyzed and accounted timely, to ensure that GAAP adjustment entries are considered, Foreign currency transactions are appropriately revalued and analyzed, monthly books of accounts are closed as per calendar
  • Preparation of Monthly Profit & Loss account and variance analysis reporting for the management.
  • Preparation of Quarterly/Half yearly Balance Sheet and P&L analysis
  • Payroll & Prepaid Accounting.
  • Raising Debit notes for all Intercompany transactions and ensuring regular settlement
  • Rental equalization and accounting of Costs related to AMC (Annual Maintenance Charges.
  • Reconciliation & clearing of all Balance sheet open line items so that the balances reflects correct ageing of amounts.

Primary Activities

Audit, Tax & Regulatory requirements -
  • Preparation of entity wise Financials statements to share with auditors.
  • Coordination with Statutory Auditors for data requirements and queries
  • Timely sharing of data/responses and resolving queries of the auditors.
  • Ensure timely closer of Audit and audit reports for respective entity as per local GAAP requirements.
  • Preparation of Board meeting Deck and presentation of financials at Board meeting of respective entities.
  • Support Tax team in Income Tax returns filling, Transfer pricing return & other statutory filing for compliance.
  • Timely survey filing.

Primary Activities

Functional Improvement/Improvisions -
  • Have a relevant experience in digital transformation where he/she participated in a transformation project/module
  • Actively participates in cross functional projects
  • Identify process improvements, automation through IT enablement
  • Always willing to seek guidance and advice to ensure timely delivery of desired result.

You have (Qualification and exp)

IT/ Technical Skills -
  • Knowledge of S4HANA (FICO module preferred)
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, particularly MS Excel and Word
  • Tech savvy
  • Automation mindset

Desirable:

Experience in Finance Controlling function

  • Educational Qualification -

Required: A Qualified Chartered accountant with minimum 0-2 years of experience. Advantage if candidate has experience in telecom Finance which includes preparation & maintenance of books of accounts in USGAAP, Exposure to Monthly closure activities at entity level, Knowledge of IFRS and IndAS, Knowledge of Foreign exchange translation, Having exposure to direct and indirect taxes, Support statutory audit of entities
