This is an exciting role reporting into the FP&A Manager in India, with dotted line reporting to the OSS Business Head in the US. It is a commercial role providing financial oversight and support to one of the largest business units in the group as well as supporting the sales team on the commercial evaluation of sales opportunities for the BU.
The role encompasses the following Functions:
• Provide overall Finance Leadership to your Business Unit, both commercially and accounting wise
• Own the BU Profit & Loss results and budget/forecast with the BU Leaders, Project Managers and Regional Controllers to ensure project reporting is timely, accurate and complete.
• Maintain both sales and business unit forecasts, updated and reported on a monthly basis
• Assist the Financial Accounting teams at month end to ensure accurate results, correcting any errors and reviewing the results with the BU Head
• Commercial evaluations on future deals and sales opportunities.
• Financial control of all ongoing projects, reviewing actual against forecasted performance
• Identify areas for cost optimisation or effliciency improvements through monitoring & analysis of financial performance.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with finance and non-finance colleagues across the Group.
• Review of contracts and subsequent accounting and reporting requirements
• Identify areas for improving processes, leading the implementation and standardisation of these changes across the business.
Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience in the following areas:
Technical:
• A solid financial educational background as Chartered Accountant or equivalent master’s degree in finance.
• Experience of a commercial financial role, partnering senior non- finance business managers
• Advanced Excel skills
• Excellent business modelling and analytical skills
Non-Technical:
• Good communicator with the ability to effectively communicate financial matters with non-financial colleagues
• Highly numerate with excellent attention to detail
• Independent and proactive, a desire to improve processes and performance
• Commercial Acumen and Business Partnering skills
• Ability in work with a global team
