Job Description: Are you an experienced Finance and Compliance professional with a deep understanding of the liquor industry We're seeking a proactive individual to join our team as a Finance and Compliance Specialist. In this role, you'll play a vital part in maintaining financial integrity and ensuring regulatory compliance within our dynamic liquor industry environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, within the liquor industry context.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations governing liquor sales and distribution.
  • Implement and refine internal controls to manage financial risks and uphold compliance standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial processes and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Stay updated on changes in liquor industry regulations and communicate implications to relevant stakeholders.
  • Provide guidance and training to staff on compliance-related matters, including responsible alcohol service and sales practices.
  • Act as a liaison between the company and regulatory agencies, facilitating inspections and addressing inquiries as necessary.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial documents and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support special projects and initiatives as directed by management.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or CPA certification is preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in finance and compliance roles, with a strong preference for exposure to the liquor industry.
  • Thorough knowledge of financial principles, practices, and reporting requirements.
  • Familiarity with liquor industry regulations, including licensing, taxation, and distribution laws.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with a collaborative approach to working across departments.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct.
