Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our dynamic team at ExcelR. The CFO will play a critical role in shaping the financial future of our company. This position involves overseeing our financial operations, developing effective financial strategies, managing financial risks, and ensuring overall financial health of the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop financial strategies by forecasting capital, facilities, and staff requirements; identifying monetary resources; and developing action plans.
  • Monitor financial performance by measuring and analyzing results, initiating corrective actions, and minimizing the impact of variances.
  • Report financial status by developing forecasts, reporting results, analyzing variances, and developing improvements.
  • Manage budget and control expenses effectively.
  • Oversee the capital structure of the company, determining the best mix of debt, equity, and internal financing.
  • Address issues related to financial performance, internal controls, and organizational strategy.
  • Ensure legal and regulatory compliance for all accounting and financial reporting functions.
  • Lead the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement in the finance department.
  • Work closely with other executive team members to align financial management with short and long-term financial planning and projections.
  • Represent the company to financial partners, including financial institutions, investors, auditors, public officials, etc.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field from a recognized university in India or abroad.
  • Chartered Accountant (CA) or Cost and Management Accountant (CMA) certification is highly preferred.
  • A minimum of 10-15 years of experience in a senior financial managerial position, with a proven track record of success in similar roles.
  • Strong leadership skills and business acumen, with an ability to make strategic decisions.
  • Deep understanding of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles, including knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS)
  • Knowledge of financial regulations in India, including tax laws and compliance requirements.
  • Expertise in financial analysis, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
  • Proficiency in financial software and accounting systems commonly used in India.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to present financial data and complex concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Prior experience working with corporate clients and managing corporate finance in a multicultural and diverse environment.
  • Experience in liaising with banks, financial institutions, and regulatory authorities
