Job Description
What role you will play in our team

  • Responsible for general and financial accounting, financial and business analysis, financial reporting and controls.
  • Working with business and provide support on the business initiatives (existing and new) and responsible for all external financial reporting.
  • Provide controls advice and guidance to the businesses / functions they work with from a local perspective.


What you will do

  • Leadership role in the Company's Accounting team preparing the financial accounts under IGAAP the Indian Accounting Standards and in accordance with statutory, tax and audit regulations
  • Knowledge and maintenance of General & Financial Accounting activities, understanding key differences between US GAAP and local reporting requirements
  • Maintain close liaison with the Company's operating departments to provide financial advisory and other support in accordance with the Companies Act and applicable regulations and accounting standards
  • Monitor regulatory changes, identify implications on Company's accounting practices and facilitate the required system and process changes as appropriate
  • Interface with external auditors in the planning and execution of the audit field work on the financial statements for adoption by the Board of Directors.
  • Timely preparation and submission for the Company statutory filings with Ministry of Corporate Affairs and Reserve Bank of India
  • Coordinate accounting and other evaluation of business initiatives and project proposals to maximize Company's returns.


About you

Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in any field from a recognized university with CGPA 6.5 and above
  • Chartered Accountant (CA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India
  • Minimum 6 years of experience working as Chartered Account
  • Strong knowledge and implementation experience in India corporate statutory reporting, internal financial reporting controls, cost audit and tax audit
  • Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards and practices, relevant laws and regulations
  • Experience with SAP, Enterprise Resource Planning and automation tools for data management is preferred
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft office application such as Excel, PowerPoint
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent English communication skills


Preferred Qualifications/ Experience

  • Chartered Accountant with a minimum experience of 6 years
  • Experience in preparation of Financial Statements and getting them audited as per IND-AS
