About the Controller Position: Our client is a growing construction company seeking a Controller who will be responsible for managing the accounting department. We are looking for a mentor, someone who will take an active role in shaping and developing the accounting team. This position will report directly to senior leadership and will work closely with the Director of Real Estate. Responsibilities of the Controller:

• Ensure timely and accurate completion of all month and quarter end closing processes
• Take a leadership role in implementing and improving existing accounting controls and create more efficient processes
• Assist with loan processes and work with lenders
• Lead and mentor staff to improve skillset
• Advise management on short and long term financial objectives
• Approve payables according to weekly cash flow
• Review cash flow for all properties
• Complete annual insurance audit
• Complete special projects as needed

Requirements for the Controller Position:

• 5 to 7 years accounting experience
• Experience in construction and/or real estate a plus
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
