Overview of the Controller role:
- Responsible for all accounting and finance functions
- Journal entries, month and year end close, financial consolidations, budgeting & forecasting
- Maintain general ledger accounts, perform monthly variance analysis
- Develop the financial forecast with opportunities to present to senior leadership
- Lead and develop a small team of direct reports
- Opportunities to lead process improvement and other projects
Preferred Qualifications for the Controller:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- 5+ years of experience in an accounting or finance related role
