As the Controller, you'll play a crucial role in managing accounting staff and overseeing financial operations.

Responsibilities of the Controller:

• Analyzing financial statements and collaborating with department managers to improve operations
• Ensuring accurate month-close processes
• Managing DMS maintenance and audits
• Maintaining the chart of accounts
• Training office managers on their responsibilities
• Adding new accounts and updating financial documents
• Preparing year-end close
• Conducting internal audits and managing compliance
• Handling sales tax and account postings
• Safeguarding the store's financial integrity

Qualifications for the Controller

• 5 years of Accounting experience within an automotive dealership setting
• Strong understanding internal controls
• Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills
• Experience with CDK software a must
