Responsibilities:
- Support the Controller in overseeing the day-to-day accounting functions and processes.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure the accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial reports, statements, and forecasts for management and stakeholders.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of manufacturing costs, inventory management, and related financial data.
- Play a pivotal role in the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
- Help develop and implement accounting systems, processes, and controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Liaise with external auditors and regulatory agencies as necessary.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to the accounting team, fostering professional growth and development.
- Participate in cross-functional collaborations to support decision-making based on financial insights.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA designation is highly preferred.
- Extensive experience in manufacturing accounting, with a strong focus on inventory management and costing.
- Previous experience in a Big 4 accounting firm is a plus.
- Proven ability to thrive in a challenging and fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
