Creative Financial Staffing has partnered with a well-established and growing logistics company. They are looking to add a Controller to the team and will move quickly for the right candidate.

The Controller responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Oversee month end close
• Provide day to day oversight of payroll, AR, and AP
• Directly supervise 2-4 payroll specialists and staff accountants
• Ensure all tax compliance and leasing standard compliance
• Assist with intercompany transactions and consolidations
• Assist with external audit needs and schedules
• Other tasks and duties as assigned

Qualifications of the Controller:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting
• 5+ year's full cycle general ledger experience
• Prior public accounting experience, ideally in a large local or regional firm
• Experience directly supervising staff
• High degree of proficiency with Excel and accounting software
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
