Interim CFO
Responsibilities:
- Interim CFO will oversee 2 staff who are in-office 2 days/week. Wednesday is the day these staff overlap in the office (one works Tues/Weds in-office and the other works Weds/Fri in-office)
- Interim CFO will be running reports, analyzing reports, reporting to the board, and writing up financial narratives
- Interim CFO will be responsible for all year end recs in collaboration with fundraising team. (Organization gets a lot of money out before end of year, in order to close out grants, wire transfers overseas). In January, will do all year end recs with fundraising team to get ready for February board meeting and audit.
- Interim CFO be reviewing the transactions of the accounting manager daily
- Interim CFO will complete ad hoc tasks and projects, as requested
Requirements:
- Must have previous hands-on experience at CFO level
- Accounting Degree is a must for Interim CFO position
- Previous nonprofit experience is required
- Experience with federal grants is required because federal grants account for $22M of their revenue source
- Advanced Excel skills
- CPA or MBA is a plus but NOT required
- Should have previous experience managing annual audits
- Intacct is system used - previous experience is a plus but NOT required (CFO will use Intacct to get reports and review them)
- Familiarity with SharePoint
- Previous or Tally (expense management) experience is a plus but NOT required
