As an Assistant Controller, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing financial reporting processes, implementing accounting standards, and driving efficiency improvements across the organization.

Assistant Controller Responsibilities:
  • Lead SEC reporting processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion of quarterly and annual financial reports.
  • Guide implementation of new accounting pronouncements and GAAP/SEC issues, including training rollout.
  • Oversee drafting and maintenance of financial policies and procedures.
  • Assist Segment CFOs and operating companies with technical accounting and reporting matters.
  • Develop and deliver accounting and reporting training across the company.
  • Oversee Corporate Accounting activities, including monthly close and financial controls.
  • Support finance transformation efforts, including system implementations and process standardization.
  • Monitor SEC rule-making and collaborate with Corporate FP&A and Investor Relations.
  • Work closely with Internal Audit and external auditors to ensure compliance and efficiency.

Assistant Controller Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Active CPA.
  • 14+ years of experience in financial reporting and accounting.
  • Public and corporate accounting mix.
  • Strong knowledge of SEC reporting requirements and GAAP.
  • Experience with financial systems implementations is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
This position offers a hybrid schedule upon relocation.
