About the Role:
Our client is seeking a Controller to join their team following some internal shifts related to the growth they've experienced. The Controller will report to the CAO and serve as a senior financial leader in the company's Northeast regional operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success and will thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment. This position will oversee 3 direct reports and will serve as a mentor, coach, and strong leader to these individuals. The Controller will also be responsible for the hiring and compensation decisions of these team members.
Primary Responsibilities of the Controller:

- Monthly/Quarterly/Annual accounting and financial reporting
- Yearend audit/auditor requests
- P&L and cashflow forecasts
- Accounts receivable collectability reviews
Team Development: Part of this role will be:
- Training and development of accounting staff
- Hiring and compensation of accounting staff
- Effectively delegating and optimizing team performance
- Instilling a positive and collaborative team environment
- Performance reviews
Preferred Experience of the Controller:
- Experience as a Corporate or Divisional Controller, financial reporting manager, or similar experience at a similarly sized company (>25$ million in revenue) required.
- Degree in Accounting or Graduate Business Degree required.
- CPA Certification preferred but not required.
- Capacity for occasional travel (
