Location: Greenville, MI

Overview: Join our client's dynamic team at a leading manufacturing company for iron castings as a Controller. This position will play a crucial role in overseeing all accounting functions for their Greenville location, ensuring accurate financial reporting and supporting the company's continued success. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, particularly in manufacturing or related industries, and possess excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Controller Responsibilities:

• Manage journal entries, reconciliations, and job costing activities
• Lead month-end close
• Prepare income statements, balance sheets, and P&L reports
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards
• Utilize moderate to advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and interact with various individuals across the organization
• Support opportunities for growth across multiple business units

Controller Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting roles
• Experience in manufacturing or related industries
• Familiarity with ASPE accounting standards (preferred)
• Strong understanding of job costing principles (huge plus)
• Independent, motivated, and a team player with excellent interpersonal skills

Controller Compensation: $95,000 plus bonus
