Accounting Manager Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Accounting Manager to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing financial operations within an automotive manufacturing environment, focusing on overseeing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll functions. Additionally, the candidate should possess strong leadership skills to develop and empower the existing team, foster synergies across departments, and elevate the plant's financial performance.

Accounting Manager Responsibilities:

• Oversee all financial operations within the automotive plant, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll processes. As the Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency and accuracy of these critical functions.
• Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards. The Accounting Manager will be key in maintaining financial integrity and transparency.
• Provide strategic financial guidance and analysis to support decision-making processes within the plant. As an Accounting Manager, you will leverage your expertise to drive informed decision-making and optimize financial performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement initiatives to optimize financial performance. The Accounting Manager will liaise between finance and other departments, fostering collaboration and driving results.
• Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. As the Accounting Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing and empowering the team to achieve their full potential.
• Drive efficiency and productivity enhancements through process optimization and automation initiatives. The Accounting Manager will spearhead initiatives to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency.
• Prepare financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses to support management decision-making and reporting requirements. As an Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for providing accurate and timely financial information to support strategic initiatives.

Accounting Manager Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
• Proven experience (5 years) in a financial leadership role within the automotive manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards (GAAP).
• Experience overseeing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll functions.
• Proficiency in ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, and financial modeling.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and integrity in financial reporting.
