Controller Overview:
We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Manufacturing Controller to join our client's team. The Manufacturing Controller will play a critical role in overseeing and optimizing our financial operations within the manufacturing sector. This individual will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, implementing cost control measures, and driving operational efficiency within the manufacturing process.

Controller Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all financial activities related to manufacturing operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Develop and maintain financial controls and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
  • Analyze manufacturing costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline manufacturing processes and enhance productivity.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate inventory valuation activities.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
  • Manage the preparation and submission of government reports and tax filings related to manufacturing operations.
  • Lead and develop a team of finance professionals to support manufacturing financial activities.

Controller Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing finance or controller role, with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, cost accounting principles, and financial analysis techniques.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and experience managing a team.
