The Position
Responsible for the reporting & planning process (LTF and Outlook). Opex control and management.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Act as process owner for Opex budgeting. Ensure collaboration for timely and accurate submission from various departments.
- Accountable for the overall Outlook/LTF Process. Tracking of Opex against budget and Outlook
- MedicineI, Medicine II & Enabling functions:
- Review and Analysis of Monthly MIS reports to Business Partners
- Allocation of cost drivers-keys for all enabling functions
- Budget and Outlook Preparation/Reporting with Analysis
- Ensuring global reporting as per guidelines
- Timely completion of monthly supplementary reporting Medicine & Enabling function)
- Timely completion of Medicine II Financial view
- Timely completion of diabetic alliance reporting - clinial trials
- Timely completion of Long Term Forecast reporting (Medicine & enabling functions)
- Year End reporting ( Medicine & enabling functions)
- Preparation for monthly business review with local leadership team & Country performance call with region
- P&L and Other reporting in Prisma/ My planning for HP and AH (10% to 15% of time allocation) business:
- Accurate Analysis and Consolidation of P&L
- Ensure accurate reporting of P&L in Prisma (BI India)
- Ensure reporting of Working Capital and other relevant details as per the Global specification
- Maintenance of SCORE database.-Follow physical inventory count controls in co-ordination with Account and SCM Team.
- Ensure timely closure of Audit Point relevant to the Controlling Function
- Follow the run book closure
- Maintain and calculate product cost, Cross country invoicing, project accounting and allocation cycle.
- Maintain Capex budget controls and provide data to GBSC.
- Education: bachelor's degree, master's degree CA (preferred)/MBA
- At least 4-6 years' experience in Financial Planning and Analysis (in Pharma, FMCG preferred but not mandatory)
- Knowledge of global financial and account reporting systems (HFM,SAP etc). Expertise in excel,word and powerpoint
- Hands on experience in FP&A
- Completion of Functional Trainings and Training on the Tools related to the job i.e. Prisma, Score, My planning, AFO, SAP. Follow GBSC standard steps as per set timeline for smooth MEC/YEC.
