:
  • As a Controllership Manager, role involves leading a team of accounting professionals for efficient and accurate handling of revenue, invoicing, collections and receivable accounting with complete control over reporting of financial and non-financial metrics within SOX compliance framework.
  • Responsible for timely closure of books for the month end with a comprehensive approach for accuracy & completeness of the financials
  • Ensuring accuracy of numbers with respect to accounting and analysis
  • Handling Internal audit, statutory audit, SOX audit and ICOFR compliance, etc.
  • Handling and overviewing team of people and guiding them in case of issues/challenges.
  • Lead, motivate, and supervise the team members with regular feedback, and conducting performance evaluations for the team
  • Working closely with Biz, tech and product teams to enable new streams and impact analysis of same
  • Strong follow ups with stakeholders for the effective closure of open points/issues.
  • Identifying and highlighting tech glitches on time to concerned teams and track for timely closure.
  • Strengthening the BS review process with more emphasis on aged balances
  • Collaboration with business and biz fin teams to ensure smooth flow of operations
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within the function to enhance efficiency and accuracy using RPA and other tech enablers
  • Should be able to work with large volume of data and in evolving environment.

What you'll need:
  • CA 4+ yrs of work experience
  • Experience of managing teams and delivering high-quality results on time.
  • Good to have experience in Power BI, oracle, SQL, Qlikview, Alteryx etc
  • The knowledge of applicable taxes & GST compliances on revenue & receivable
  • Deep understanding of accounting, finance, and business
  • Capable of handling multiple projects at a time
  • Exceptional communicator and Lucid thinker
  • Analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail.
  • Experience in Ecommerce/FMCG is an added benefit.
