Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation:

Global Business Services (GBS) aims to provide globally unified services based on standardized and automated solutions across different functions and markets. This will enable us to drive operational efficiency, quality services, improved agility and better decision-making whilst reducing complexity and workload.

Controlling and Reporting team supports the business by providing information that will enable the financial decisions, by promoting transparency in the actuals reporting and increasing the accuracy in the Planning activities, such as forecast and budgeting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support on the execution of budgeting, forecasting and cost monitoring processes
  • Ensure data quality and integrity across various systems and tools
  • Assist the supervisor to partner with the business within the assigned area of responsibility
  • Data mechanization and daily/ monthly maintenance of the information in the reporting / budget systems
  • Check problems in existing systems or day-to-day processes
  • Deliver defined output following clear procedures/ processes within own job area to support the department targets
  • Support variance analysis and propose actions to the senior colleagues
  • Execute standardized reporting
  • Develop and provide expertise for assigned functional areas/ systems and processes towards team and business partners

  • Finance Controllers

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Solid financial acumen
  • Some experience with SAP is an advantage
  • System expertise: Very good MS office skills (especially Excel), SAP S/4 Hana, SAC (SAP Analytics Cloud) and Power BI
  • Experience of Central Finance (CFIN) implementation
  • Some experience in a Shared Service environment is an advantage
  • Ability to read, write and communicate in English in a business setting
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail and high degree of customer orientation
  • Problem solving and analytical skills
  • Highly results driven and self-motivated team player with compassion, integrity, trust and perseverance.
  • Curious and growth mindset; keen to learn and approach subjects outside of comfort zone, look beyond the obvious.
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Fluent in English, spoken and written

  • University degree in Commerce/Business Administration/Finance/ Controlling or similar.
  • 0-2 years relevant work experience in the accounting / business area
  • Broad and deep theoretical understanding of job function

2 plus years relevant work experience as CPA or equivalent
