Accounting Bookkeeper

We are seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team at Measure Marketing. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, experience with Click Books software and a solid grasp of the Canadian taxation system and laws.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain accurate financial records using Click Books software
• Record day-to-day financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure the accuracy of financial data
• Prepare and process invoices, bills, and other financial documents
• Assist with payroll processing and related tasks
• Generate financial reports and summaries for management review
• Ensure compliance with Canadian taxation laws and regulations
• Assist with financial audits as needed
• Provide support to the accounting team as required

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.
• Proficiency with Click Books software
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Familiarity with the Canadian taxation system and laws
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)
• Relevant certification (e.g., CPA, CPB) is a plus
