Your Impact:
  • Finalization of accounts on a monthly basis as per Group policies.
  • Review monthly operating reports for accuracy, completeness and major variances between actual and budget results.
  • Manage all accounting operations including Overseeing - Billing, A/R, A/P, TWC, GL n all controllership related activities
  • Support the Business Finance in preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances
  • Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements
  • Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting and fully accountable for regulatory compliances
  • Research technical accounting issues for compliance
  • Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
  • Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
  • Liaise effectively and resolve any issues with stakeholders on all financial reporting matters
  • Ensure compliance with all Groupe Policies and statutory financial controls
  • Assist in any additional reporting, continuous improvement or Group projects as appropriate that may arise on an adhoc basis
  • Ensure risk identification, escalation, investigation and mitigation
  • Ensure a sound understanding of, demonstrate commitment to & comply with all legislation & Publicis Sapient Policies relevant to your role & all activities undertaken in that role.
  • Actively develop and maintain meaningful working relationships with all Publicis Sapient personnel both at interpersonal level and across all business processes within the wider business environment.

Qualifications

Your Skills & Experience:
  • Bachelor of Accountancy or CA equivalent
  • 6+ years of post-qualification experience
  • Relevant experience within the IT/ITES sector preferred

Knowledge
  • Knowledge of accounting standards (India, International, and US GAAP) and tax requirements
  • Experience in using ERP and other accounting systems and reporting packages
  • Experience with HFM, SAP & Oracle
  • Experience in analysis of data and reporting compilation
  • Experience of STPI/SEZ stipulations

Skills (including technology)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in reviewing financial data & identifying errors
  • Ability to prioritize and effective time management skills
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English (both written & conversational)
