Overview:

The Senior Accountant plays a crucial role in the financial management and reporting process of our organization. They are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial records, providing financial analysis and reporting, and contributing to strategic financial decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.
  • Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
  • Conduct and oversee financial analysis to support business decisions.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Manage and reconcile accounts, ledgers, and financial databases.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with tax filings.
  • Collaborate with external auditors during financial audits.
  • Assist in developing and implementing accounting policies and procedures.
  • Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.
  • Utilize accounting software to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Participate in financial data analysis and financial reporting to support management decision-making.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of internal controls.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • CPA certification highly preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
  • Thorough knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Experience in supervising and mentoring junior staff.
  • Understanding of tax regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.
  • Proven track record of meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality work.
  • Experience in conducting financial analysis and providing insights to support business decisions.
