Purpose
To design and implement various accounting systems, define processes, preparing detailed scope, schedules, and cost estimates for the control account, manage and controls that ensure adherence to various compliances by relevant regulatory bodies from time to time.

1-2 years. Min working experience of 6 months on Zoho is mandatory.

Role & Responsibilities

Accounting & Statutory Compliances
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
- Record day-to-day financial transactions and ensure their accuracy.
- Completion of the monthly, quarterly & annual closure of accounts and documentation.
- Complying to all statutory compliances.
- Be informed about changes in Statutory Regulations from time to time and accordingly Incorporate changes in the system.
- Working towards clearance of all payables as per the terms & conditions agreed.
- Completion of the Inter Unit Transfer Amount (IUTA) & bank reconciliation.
- Preparation of the Quarterly & Annual Balance Sheets of SEL India & SEL Consolidated.
- Ensure that receivables from SEMPL are cleared on timely basis.
- Preparation and updation delegation of powers and fee policies for all entities.
- Review and disbursement of salaries of SEL & all its units.
- Provide required support to the internal & statutory auditors.
- Provide support for closure of all internal and external audit objections and improve processes as per the audit guidelines.
- Ensure being apprised of all required compliances in Maldives and adherence of the same.
- Create & implement checks and controls in all financial transactions to eliminate errors, chances of fraud etc.
- Collaborate with the team in creation & consolidation of budgets and forecasts.
- Monitor budget variances and provide explanations for significant deviations.
- Management Reporting of all units.
- Measure DOP and SOP as per cost boundaries for the project or functional requirements.
- Prepare & share cashflows on a weekly basis for all entities.
Consultancy Units

- Prepare timely & accurate billing on all consultancy units & documentation of the same.
- Responsible for timely follow-up to recover the dues on time.
- Documentation of updates made by DOE affecting Client Schools.
- Documentation of updates/ revisions in statutory compliances affecting Client Schools.
- Provide support to the client schools in creating budgets & MIS
- Provide support in compliance review conducted at Client Schools.
- Provide support in implementation of Accounting software (Shri Connect Accounting Software) in our Own schools and Client schools.
