Job Profile
Purpose of Role
Responsible to perform cost and revenue analyses on monthly Management Information (MI) reports on business performance reviews, prepare budget reports and evaluate current accounting trends, provide support to senior management team on decisions in alignment with business objectives. Also assists in preparing presentation materials for management
Main Responsibilities
- Prepare financial reports for senior management on monthly basis including expense control for planning and informational purposes
- Evaluate all financial data for accuracy, completeness in reporting monthly performance evaluation of the bank and implement corrective action.
- Prepare and administer financial management related activities in a timely manner.
- Prepare analysis reports make necessary recommendations and coordinate with various departments to prepare presentation materials
- Monitor all processes, analyze and report anomalies in Expense Control reporting system
- Participate in regular audits and recommend corrective financial action plans
- Conduct analysis on financial data to identify any discrepancies and investigate if required.
- Work in partnership with various departments to collect and coordinate information to prepare accurate and timely budgets for the country.
- Work in partnership with Regional HQ to sharing information on Branch performance against budget.
Conduct reconciliation on data on Branches expenses to ensure accurate all India MI reports.
Key Relationships (with whom & Purpose)
- Regional HQ and Tokyo HQ to receive financial result and for reconciliation
Regional HQ to report monthly profit/expense progress
- RM of all branches (Japanese Corporate and Global Corporate) to get latest update of pipeline information
- Branch staffs in charge of expense control to get latest update and provide guidance reflection HQ situation
Candidate Profile
Skills & Knowledge :
- Self -motivated and self-directed
- Strong MS skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Good communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills to support line of reasoning.
- Good understanding in interpretation of reports and budgets including strong analytical skills with an attention to detail
- Understanding of financial and accounting principles
- An ability to analyze market trends and provide data-based advice.
Education and Professional Qualification:
- Chartered Accountant or MBA finance Degree qualified.
- Desirable to have at least 1+ years of relevant experience.
