Position Title: Deputy Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis & MIS

Location: Malad, Mumbai, India

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the annual budgeting process by coordinating with department heads to develop comprehensive budgets aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support forecasting, scenario analysis, and decision-making.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasts and variance analysis reports.
  • Analyze key financial and operational metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management to support strategic initiatives and drive business performance.
  • Monitor and analyze actual financial performance against budget and forecast, identifying areas of concern or improvement.
  • Prepare ad-hoc financial analysis and reports as requested by management.
  • Collaborate with accounting and other teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, economic factors, and regulatory changes that may impact financial performance.
  • Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.

  • Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of experience in financial planning, analysis, or related roles, with a demonstrated track record of success.

    Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. MBA or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and financial analysis.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate insights effectively.
