Role: Financial Analyst
Position Overview:
The role entails primarily to support the overall financial management, including planning & forecasting, reporting analysis and long-range planning.
Serve as the primary finance contact and business advisor for Sales by providing financial insights, scenario planning and solutions. Work collaboratively with the Marketing, Sales, Finance and operations, and HR. Primary focus area would be collecting, validating data for finance reporting and develop & publish Power BI dashboards and partner with Marketing and Sales.

- Assisting the Deputy/Finance Directors and finance leads in Planning/forecasting related activities.
- Logical reasoning related to variance analysis & translate those in a scripted way
- Assist in Ad-hoc analysis/investigations/what if modelling and collaborate with/enable business to deliver expected outcomes
- Provide landing estimates based on predictions considering the trend data without compromising on accuracy of data used for predictions
- Interacting with finance leads to providing responses to their requests related to finance

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensures that data is accurate, complete, and consistent.
- Implement processes and procedures to monitor, assess, and improve data quality.
- Monitor data sources and ensure that data is appropriately entered, stored, and maintained to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Work with other departments to identify data trends and patterns that support the organization’s objectives. This will include using data visualization tools like dashboards and charts to help identify trends and insights
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and implement data analytics and reporting capabilities to support business decision-making processes
Qualifications and Skills:
- Educational Level MBA/CA/ICWA with around 3 - 6 years of experience in FP&A, MIS Reporting, and Data Analysis & Modelling
- Proficiency in Power BI tool, MS Excel or Google Spreadsheets. SQL Query (Good to have)
- Analysing financial data and using financial forecasting and modelling for management reporting
- Experience working with and creating databases and dashboards using all relevant data to make informed decisions.
- Conducting market research to identify trends
- Experience in CRM systems and the SaaS industry is a big plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Take ownership and communicate proactively.
- Ability to work and lead in an unstructured environment, have a problem-solving attitude to enable and bring in possible solutions.
