About the Role:

You will be responsible for assisting in processing and recording of all accounts payable transactions from coordinating with vendors for invoices, verifying their completeness, matching with contracts to ensuring timely payments for the same while adhering to company policies and procedures. Further ensuring proper accounting for the same in the books of accounts.

What will you do:
  • Be the single touchpoint for handling Vendor communications.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
  • Maintain vendor records and documentation in compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements to streamline vendor communications and payment processes.
  • Monitor vendor performance and escalate issues as needed to ensure vendor compliance with payment terms.
  • Assist in vendor onboarding and setup processes to ensure accurate and efficient communication channels.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve vendor payment issues and discrepancies.
  • Ensure proper deduction of TDS, claiming of GST ITC & related compliances.
  • Process employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Assist in weekly & monthly payment batches for approval by senior accounts payable staff.
  • Support month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.

What are we looking for?

Must have:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of professional experience in accounting or finance (preferably in CA office)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
  • Proficient in using accounting software/systems (e.g., Oracle, QuickBooks, SAP) and MS Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective customer interactions.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
