Overview

Responsible to plan, execute and document audit reports, including risk assessments, audit planning, audit testing, control evaluation, report drafting and follow-up and verification of issue closure while ensuring audits are completed timely and within budget and work closely with global Audit colleagues in the early identification of emerging control issues and reporting them timely to Audit management and business stakeholders

Responsibilities
  • Audit of statutory accounts compliant with auditing standards.
  • Managing audit assignments from planning through to finalisation of reports in line with agreed timescales.
  • Leading an audit team, ensuring the team completes the assignments in a timely manner within budget.
  • Controlling time spent and monitoring actual time within budget.
  • People management coaching, feedback, performance management, training and development, engaging high performing teams.
  • Ensure standards and procedures maintained by whole team
  • Assesses and produces high quality work in line with the organizations policy and processes, meeting relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to work on number of audit assignments simultaneously
  • Performing a detail review of all audit assignments

Qualifications
  • Chartered Accountant.
  • 5-8 years of post-qualification experience
  • Should have handled statutory audit assignments earlier
  • Must have strong knowledge of auditing & accounting standards
  • Good presentation skills and ability to respond promptly
  • Ability to prioritize work on multiple assignments & manage ambiguity
  • Should be a team player with a proactive & result oriented approach
