Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our team and take on the responsibility of managing our financial operations and strategic investments. You will play a crucial role in overseeing financial planning, analysis, and reporting, as well as leading merger and acquisition activities, company valuation, and analysis to support our strategic decision-making processes.

Note: Must have experience of handling Merger and Acquisition and should have practical exposure for the same.

Responsibilities:

- Manage and supervise the day-to-day financial operations of the company, including accounting, financial planning, analysis, and reporting.

- Oversee merger and acquisition activities, including conducting company valuation, due diligence, and financial analysis for potential investments.

- Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to accounting standards.

- Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement, and provide strategic recommendations to the management team.

- Conduct regular financial reviews, performance analysis, and forecasting to support budgeting and financial planning processes.

- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, tax regulations, and company policies, collaborating with external auditors and tax advisors as necessary.

- Oversee internal controls and implement measures to mitigate financial risks.

- Manage the company's investment portfolio, including conducting investment analysis, evaluating potential investment opportunities, and providing recommendations to senior management.

- Monitor and evaluate the financial performance of invested companies, preparing reports and making recommendations for optimization.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial aspects of business initiatives, projects, and strategic planning.

- Stay updated on changes in accounting standards, taxation laws, and industry best practices, and ensure their implementation within the organization.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Qualified Chartered Accountant with a proven track record of working in a similar role, preferably within a manufacturing and export-oriented company.

- In-depth knowledge and understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and statutory compliance.

- Proficiency in investment analysis, valuation techniques, and financial modeling.

-Must have post qualification experience in handling Merger and Acquisitions and was actively part of project

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic recommendations.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, external auditors, and investment partners.

- Proficient in using accounting software and advanced MS Excel skills.

- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
